Saudi Telecom renews managed services deal with NSN

Mobile equipment vendor Nokia Solutions and Networks (NSN) on Wednesday said Saudi Telecom Company (STC) has renewed its managed services contract.

NSN did not divulge financial details of the managed services contract.

The managed services deal is aimed to improve operational efficiency, network performance and the quality of services (QoS) of STC, the largest and leading telecom operator in Saudi Arabia.

The renewed contract will enable NSN to provide its managed services including network planning and optimization, network and service operations as well as care services including hardware and software services for STC’s Al Jawal Network. The contract covers GSM, 3G and LTE network of STC within NSN’s footprint.
