Huawei names Bi Yunfeng as CEO of India R&D center

Huawei announced the appointment of Bi Yunfeng (Isaac) as the new chief executive officer of Huawei Technologies India, the company’s R&D center.

Isaac succeeds William Zhao, who has taken up a leadership role for software engineering in Huawei’s Consumer Business Group in Shenzhen, China.

Isaac has complete management responsibility, delivering on the company’s vision and developing its long-term strategic and growth plans for India.

He is responsible for leading the R&D center’s growth and competitiveness in new business areas, and enhancing Huawei Technologies India’s position as one of the most competitive R&D centers of Huawei.

Isaac joined Huawei in 2001 as an engineer. He grew to lead large development teams across various product lines including Access Network, Fixed Network and Storage during 18 years’ career with Huawei.
