Huawei demos mobile Wi-Fi products range at GSMA 2012

Telecom Lead Asia: Huawei, a China-based ICT
solutions provider has demonstrated its portfolio of Mobile Wi-Fi products,
including seven products offering a range of PA+ 21Mbps download speed to LTE
Cat4 150Mbps download speed at the GSMA Mobile Asia Expo 2012.

 

The company has also demoed the Huawei Mobile WiFi E5331,
which is 12.8mm thick and suitable for ultra-thin electronic products.
Alongside to WiFi E5331, the company has showcased new Mobile Wi-Fi E5151 which
has an Ethernet port that supports both Ethernet and 3G networks.

 

The WiFi E5331 allows consumers to choose between using
fixed-line broadband or a wireless broadband network.

 

The company claims that its E5151 supports connection
speed of up to PA+ 21 Mbps and will be commercially available in September this
year.

 

With the growing number of Wi-Fi-enabled devices such as
tablets, laptops, hand-held games and digital cameras, mobile Wi-Fi products
that support cellular wireless network sharing is increasing in popularity.

 

Huawei leads the market leader with a 59.3 percent share
of the Mobile Wi-Fi market, according to ABI Research.

 

Huawei demonstrates 200Gbit/s high-speed line card for routers

 

Recently, Huawei demonstrated its 200Gbit/s high-speed
line card for routers at The Gathering (TG) 2012 in Hamar, Norway.

 

At the event, Huawei showcased 200 Gbit/s high-speed line
cards, NE5000E high-end routers, and OptiX OSN 8800 dense wavelength division
equipment.
