The company did not share the name of telecom operators who signed VoLTE deals with Huawei, a Chinese telecom network vendor.

A tier-one operator in Europe has selected Huawei as its Virtual IP Multimedia Subsystem (vIMS) supplier for cloud-based VoLTE deployment.
80 operators in 42 countries are investing in VoLTE deployments, studies or trials, with 14 operators having launched HD voice service using VoLTE in 7 countries. Many more launches are expected in 2015, said GSA in a January 2015 note.

More telecom operators will deploy VoLTE services in 2015 and beyond. Some will market HD voice quality. Operators should be aiming to collectively improve the user experience of operator voice in the face of increased competition from OTT VoIP services.
