Huawei announces Communications as a Service

Telecom network vendor Huawei has recently announced Communications as a Service (CaaS) that will enable new channels for telecom operators to monetize their network capabilities.

Huawei CaaS platform enables telecom operators to offer communication capabilities as a strategic control point to various industries and enable their usage with reduced amount of initial investment and quicken time-to-market.

This apart, it offers the scope to help telecom service providers to grow in enterprises and vertical market, as well as machine-to-machine by building of better communication enabled applications with Application Programming Interface exposure and delivery of Software Development Kits to a greater number of users.

He Weijie, vice president, Western European region, Huawei, said: “To facilitate this transition by operators, Huawei CaaS platform provides strong potential across a variety of domains, from enterprise services and vertical market solutions to the Internet of Things.”

Huawei also demonstrated its CaaS hosting platform to more than 20 partner companies ranging from large telecom operators to system integrators.
