France Telecom-Orange selects BI solution from MACH

Telecom Lead Europe: France Telecom-Orange has
selected MACH’s Subscriber Performance Manager business intelligence
solution to help grow the roaming revenues of its group members.

With the deployment of new BI solution, France
Telecom-Orange will be able to offer its subscribers flexible retail roaming
tariffs, encouraging use of these profitable services and thereby driving up
revenue.

Now with MACH’s business intelligence solution, we have
the granular data necessary to develop highly targeted strategies for growing
our roaming revenues. MACH’s solution provides us with the granular level of
information we need to drill down into behaviour and build highly tailored
roaming propositions. These will drive a number of campaigns that we expect
will provide further differentiation for the Group and its affiliates,” said
Dirk Van Bavel, consumer propositions director, France Telecom-Orange,
commented:

MACH figures have indicated that 40 per cent of customers
turn data roaming off when travelling abroad, demonstrating that fears of bill
shock are still constraining service uptake.

France Telecom-Orange is leading the market in its
approach to retail roaming. Through the use of business
intelligence it is ensuring that roaming works for all parties involved:
affiliates, partners and most importantly the customer,” said Rasmus Holst,
senior VP, Markets, MACH.

MACH’s Subscriber Performance Managert allows group
operators to analyse, report and action subscriber intelligence immediately,
ensuring that affiliates get the business intelligence they need, when they
need it.

Subscriber Performance Manager is a part of MACH’s M
Vision portfolio and forms part of MACH’s Applied Business Intelligence
suite, which integrates a range of core business intelligence capabilities into
a single platform for all roaming and wholesale processes.
