Drei starts 5G services in Carinthia with ZTE

Hutchison Drei has started 5G services at Carinthia in Austria — in partnership with telecom equipment maker ZTE.
Drei starts 5G-operations with ZTEDrei’s telecom engineers — with the assistance of China-based ZTE — built a 5G network to provide Internet speeds of up to one Gigabit per second in Portschach / Worthersee on 5G smartphones.

DI Jan Trionow, CEO of Drei Austria, said: “With the start of 5G mobile radio generation in Portschach, Drei will offer a more efficient Internet supply for households and companies in Carinthia.”
