In-building wireless equipment and deployments market size to reach $8 bn in 2019, says ABI Research

The market size of in-building wireless equipment and deployments will be around $8 billion in 2019 against $4.4 billion for 2014, growing at 14 percent CAGR, said ABI Research.

ABI Research in its latest research said North America will be spending the most on the DAS. Sports venues and transportation will attract the most DAS investment while shopping malls, healthcare and hotels/resorts finish a close second place. Together these verticals in North America account for about two-thirds of DAS spending.

North America is followed by Asia-Pacific and then Europe (in that order) for market size.

Asia-Pacific region today accounts for less than a quarter of the total market. It will grow to more than 25 percent by 2019 at a CAGR of more than 20 percent.

Active DAS systems will continue to account for the majority of deployment types with over 60 percent of the revenue throughout our forecast period.
