Anritsu set to demo its Vector Network Analyzer system at IMS

Telecom Lead America: Test and measurement company
Anritsu is set to showcase its broadband Vector Network Analyzer (VNA)
system at the International Microwave Symposium (IMS) in Montreal.

Anritsu claims that its broadband Vector Network Analyzer
is the world’s only system that is able to conduct single sweeps from 70 kHz to
140 GHz.

Device engineers require broad frequency coverage above
110 GHz to accurately characterize devices. The company said that with its new
analyzer, engineers will be able to characterize devices with up to 140 GHz.

“We were the first to develop the 40 GHz (2.92 mm) K
connector and the 70 GHz (1.85 mm) V connector, and led the way on the 1 mm
connector. In order to support a VNA with performance to 140 GHz, we needed to
develop and support a new 0.8 mm connector,” said Bob Buxton, marketing
manager, General Purpose Test, Microwave Measurements Division.

The company affirms that the demonstration of its VNA
will justify its commitment to address the needs of engineers developing
products for high-frequency applications.

The company will also showcase a new 0.8 mm connector along
with a stability and RF performance of the VectorStar and mm-wave modules.

At the event, the company will demo how
VectorStar can be used for signal integrity measurements by using the
MP1800A Signal Quality Analyzer (SQA) BERT and MP1825B 4Tap Emphasis.

The company has also collaborated with BridgeWave
Communications for a high-frequency point-to-point demonstration.

The demo will feature BridgeWave’s 80 GHz Wireless
Ethernet Bridge to highlight the MS2830A Signal Analyzer’s ability to verify
emissions of mm-wave point-to-point wireless links.

Anritsu unveils multi-channel modules for MP1800A Signal
Quality Analyzer BERT system

In January, Anritsu unveiled its 28G/32G multi-channel
modules for its MP1800A Signal Quality Analyzer (SQA) BERT system.
