Airspan Networks deploys LTE solution for Belgium telecoms b•lite

LTE 4G equipment vendor Airspan Networks has deployed its LTE solution in Band42 for b•lite, a 4G Service provider in Belgium.

Airspan’s Air4G eNodeB provides the same effective cell coverage as a traditional Macro eNodeB at much lower power consumption, lower footprint and lower total cost of ownership.

Max Heilbron, b•lite’s CEO, said: “Our 4G technology will be offered to residential and business customers and will also be a great asset for any mobile broadband with a Quality of Service guarantee for projects enabling Wi-Fi on public transportation.”

Airspan claims that its small cell portfolio provides a set of solutions for the deployment of LTE small cells in a variety of use cases in outdoor and indoor locations.
