Aircel deploys Astellia solutions to optimize 2G and 3G network

Indian telecom service provider Aircel has deployed Nova suite from Astellia for optimizing its 2G and 3G radio access and core network.

The Maxis-owned Aircel, which has a subscriber base of over 75 million, can detect issues that cause network quality degradations and take corrective actions to ensure better quality of services to its customers. The network optimization will also enable Aircel to strengthen its Opex and Capex plans.

Aircel offers ISD calling @ 1 paise  secondAstellia, a provider of network and subscriber intelligence, will leverage customer analytics to assist Aircel to understand and predict customer usage trends, optimize existing data plans or introduce new ones, address churn and optimize RoI on mobile infrastructure investments.

“Astellia will assist us to get an increased visibility into our network performance to offer enhanced customer experience and improved operational efficiency. I am also expecting revenue uplift based on customer insights and bespoken solutions coming out of the Astellia stable,” said Sameer Dave, CTO of Aircel.
