Indian smartphone vendor Xolo has unveiled Xolo Q500 with 4-inch WVGA display with OGS (One Glass Solution) technology and 233 PPI for better multimedia experience. Xolo Q500 comes with Hindi language translation tool targeting the domestic mobile phone users, the company said on Friday.
Xolo Q500 features Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor with 1.2 GHz quad CPUs.
The smartphone vendor says Xolo Q500 – priced at Rs 7,999 – features X-TransPic mobile application, a language translation tool that helps users translate Hindi words by pointing the app camera at any sign board, advertisement or poster. This functionality works even when the phone is not connected to the internet.
The company said the X-TransPic mobile application will be available on all Xolo’s upcoming Snapdragon devices. This will be a special value addition for Indian smartphone users.
Specifications of Xolo Q500 include 5 MP AF rear camera with LED flash and VGA front camera, 1 GB RAM and 4 GB internal memory, micro SD slot for 32 GB expandable memory, Android OS Jelly Bean v4.1, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal memory and 1450 mAh battery.
