Xiaomi has launched Redmi 9i, a new budget smartphone, at a starting price of Rs 8,299 for the 4GB+64GB model.
Redmi 9i with the 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage model will cost Rs 9,299 for smartphone customers in India.
The smartphone will be available in three colours — nature green, sea blue, midnight black –across mi.com, Flipkart, Mi Homes and Mi Studios starting September 18.
The Redmi 9i smartphone from Xiaomi features 6.53-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 20:9 aspect ratio with TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification for better visibility in reading mode.
Redmi 9i is powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 chipset clocked at 2 GHz coupled with 4GB RAM and up to 128GB internal storage. It also has a dedicated microSD card slot allowing expansion up to 512GB.
Redmi 9i, one of the low-cost smartphones with innovative features, has a 5000mAh battery to address the daily needs of customers.
It comes with a 13MP AI camera on the rear with features such as AI Portrait mode, AI scene detection, document scanner and kaleidoscope. Besides, Redmi 9i also has a 5MP AI selfie camera with AI portrait mode.
