China TechFaith Wireless Communication Technology
announced it will ship its TecFace branded mobile phone “Jungle” to
the Middle East market in the third quarter of 2011.
Jungle’s rugged mobile phone features high shock, water
and dust resistance, make it ideal for harsh weather conditions. In addition,
Jungle is equipped with outdoor functions, such as Altimeter, Compass,
Pedometer, Torch and many more.
“While TechFaith has always served customers
globally, this marks the first overseas shipment for our Jungle in-house brand.
Customers are seeking us out because of our design expertise, ability to tailor
phones and reliable manufacturing. We already have customer orders in the
Middle East that we expect to build on, with both TecFace and our other branded
mobile phones as we increase our overseas market share,” said Deyou Dong,
chief operating officer of TechFaith.
