Sony Ericsson ties up with Aircel to offer 3G bundled schemes for Live with Walkman

Sony Ericsson India
has launched Live with Walkman, an Android smartphone. Smartphone major has
tied up with telecom service provider Aircel to offer innovative schemes.


On a recharge of Rs
295 per month, Aircel 3G users can enjoy the benefits of 500 local minutes of
calling (Aircel to Aircel), 1000 SMS (local and national), and download of 2050
MB. Those in the Aircel 2G circle will enjoy 600 local minutes of calling (from
Aircel to all operators), and the same SMS and data benefits that the 3G users
get.


With the goodness of
Sony content, free downloading with the Aircel offer, upto 50GB free online
storage/sharing for digital content and a premium headset worth Rs. 2000 approx.;
this smartphone is priced at Rs 14,549.


Given the love for
music, every consumer today wants to experience music like a -LIVE
performance’. This offer will enable every Aircel users to download free audios
and video tracks and enrich their music experience on Sony Ericsson’s Live with
Walkman phone. For our entertainment-loving consumers, Aircel is providing
downloads for full length 20 songs, absolutely free of cost, and this offer is
valid for one month,” Jitendra Rahi, national head Devices, Aircel India.


With a dedicated
Walkman hardware button, this device provides access to the music player.
Consumers can like, share and discover content through a Facebook integration.
They can also keep track of their favourite songs through the infinite button.


With Sony Ericsson’s
curved design, a glossy finish and a mineral glass display, the phone has a
3.2″ screen and 1 GHz processor. A front facing camera is enabled for Skype
video calling, while the 5MP camera on the back panel captures 720p HD video
recording.


Sony’s xLOUD enhances
audio  output, and the latest Android platform for smartphones
(Gingerbread 2.3) provides access to over 250,000 applications on the Android
Market. Additionally consumers to get a premium headset for better music
experience.
