Samsung launches Galaxy Note with advanced pen-input technology



 

Samsung announced the launch of Galaxy Note in the Indian mobile market
at the price of Rs 34,990.


It features 5.3 inches HD Super AMOLED display, an advanced pen-input
technology, -Smart Pen’ which can be used for sketching and artwork.


The company also announced the launch of -S Choice’, a new category menu
under the Samsung Apps, with applications designed for Smart Pen feature.


“Galaxy Note is a revolutionary product that seeks to open a new
category in the mobile industry.  While the Galaxy Note’s large screen
provides a beautiful immersive viewing experience, the touch screen and
advanced Smart Pen interface allows users to sketch, write, create and share
more than ever before from one device” said Ranjit Yadav, country head, Samsung Mobile & IT.


Galaxy Note’s To-Do tools and schedule application allows drag and drop
functionality between the apps. Moreover, the smart phone features e-books,
PowerPoint presentations, news apps and web pages. It enhances multitasking as
the phone’s screen allows split-screen operation. The phone measures 9.6mm
thick and makes it fit in the pocket and ensures portability.


Galaxy Note has 1.4GHz dual-core processor which facilitates better
usability with fast user interface. In addition, Users can stream videos in
real-time or engage with their friends through online gaming platforms,
facilitated through Samsung’s Game Hub.


Samsung has also included ChatON, its new mobile communication service
which works across all major smartphone and feature phone platforms. ChatON
lets users interact with friends and family, regardless of device platform.
Users can share text, images, hand-written notes and video instantly.
