Realme has joined hands with Khy electronics to manufacture AIOT products and accessories including Realme Watch 2 Pro, Realme Buds Wireless, and Realme 4K Smart TV Google Stick in India.
Realme has achieved significant growth in hearables and wearables business categories. The initiative re-affirms the brand’s commitment to make India a key manufacturing hub for smartphones, smart TVs, and other AIOT product lines, said Madhav Sheth, CEO of Realme India, Europe and Latin America.
All Realme smartphones sold in India are 100 percent ‘Made in India’. In August, Realme started export to Nepal. More than 60-70 percent of Realme smartphone supplies, like screens, batteries, and internal structures, are currently purchased and manufactured in India.
Realme has earlier partnered with Bhagwati Products and Videotex International as OEM partners to start local manufacture of realme Smart TV 32, 43, and 55 inches, respectively.
