Realme investment of Rs 26.8 crore for manufacturing Buds Air 3 in India

Realme announced its investment of INR 26.8 crore for the manufacturing of Realme Buds Air 3 in India.
Realme Buds Air 3Realme will manufacture Realme Buds Air 3 in partnership with KHY Electronics and is expected to accelerate the local procurement of production consumables, product accessories, and packaging materials.

The investment in Realme Buds Air 3 production will create up to 1,000 employment opportunities in India.

“With this investment, realme Buds Air 3, our flagship TWS earbuds with Active Noise Cancellation, becomes India’s first locally-produced Active Noise Cancellation TWS earbuds with 100 percent localized production in the country,” Madhav Sheth, CEO, realme India, said in a news statement.

Since 2019, Realme has invested INR 300 crore in establishing eight SMT lines in India for smartphone manufacturing. Currently, the China-based company makes all Realme smartphones and smart TVs in India. Realme has partnered with many OEMs including Bhagwati Products, Videotex International, and KHY electronics to enhance its domestic manufacturing capability.

Realme has created 13,000+ jobs throughout its investment strategies, aiding local manufacturing practices in India.
