OPPO Find X8 and Find X8 Pro premium smartphones — designed for creators, gamers, and everyday users – will feature MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset.

Canalys Senior Analyst Toby Zhu says OPPO has shipped 28.6 million smartphones in the third-quarter of 2024 — grabbing 9 percent share in the global smartphone market. “OPPO has achieved 30 percent growth in the Southeast Asia region following the launch of the rebranded A3 series in the $100-to-$200 price segment,” Toby Zhu said.

Benefits of MediaTek Dimensity 9400 for OPPO Users

Dimensity 9400 from MediaTek, with its second-generation All Big Core architecture, provides 35 percent faster single-core and 28 percent faster multi-core performance compared to its predecessor. This ensures smoother multitasking, 4K video editing, and overall superior day-to-day user experience.

The 12-core Arm Immortalis-G925 GPU supports cutting-edge features like ray tracing and opacity micromaps, delivering 40 percent faster raytracing performance and 41 percent peak performance boost over the previous generation.

OPPO’s advanced cooling system further ensures consistent high frame rates and seamless gaming even at maximum graphics settings.

Built on TSMC’s 3nm process, the chipset is 40 percent more power-efficient, complementing the OPPO Find X8 Series’ Silicon-Carbon battery for multi-day usage without compromising performance.

MediaTek’s 8th Gen NPU accelerates AI tasks, offering 80 percent faster large language model (LLM) processing while being 35 percent more power-efficient.

Integration with Google Gemini Nano enables features like Magic Compose for intelligent, context-aware replies across various tones and languages, saving time and enhancing communication.

The Imagiq 1090 ISP, combined with OPPO’s Hasselblad Master Camera System, boosts capabilities in low-light performance, HDR video, and AI-powered zoom.

Users can shoot 4K video at 60fps with 14 percent lower power consumption, ensuring longer recording sessions with smoother, high-quality footage.

AI LinkBoost and MediaTek’s connectivity suite improve network stability for activities like online gaming and high-speed uploads, even in crowded environments.

Wi-Fi coverage is enhanced by MediaTek Xtra Range 3.0, extending range by up to 30 meters for reliable performance.

The Dimensity 9400’s AI capabilities align with OPPO’s ColorOS innovations, enabling an enriched user experience tailored for efficiency and creativity.
