As part of its investment and manufacturing roadmap, the company aims to deepen its commitment to India — one of the fastest-growing smartphone markets globally — while aligning with the country’s Make in India initiative. The company did not reveal its India related investment plans.

Manufacturing Scale-Up in Chennai

Phone (3) will be assembled at Nothing’s dedicated facility in Chennai, which currently employs over 500 staff, 95 percent of whom are women — reflecting the company’s focus on inclusive workforce development. The localized production is expected to significantly improve operational efficiency, reduce supply chain latency, and enable faster response to market dynamics.

Strategic Investment in India

Co-Founder and India President Akis Evangelidis reaffirmed Nothing’s long-term vision for India, stating that every smartphone the company has released has been manufactured in the country. With Phone (3) positioned as its first true flagship, Nothing is doubling down on investments in manufacturing, innovation, and local talent — echoing its alignment with national development goals.

Retail and Service Network Expansion

Nothing has also rapidly scaled its service infrastructure to enhance the post-sale customer experience. The company now operates:

5 exclusive service centers in key metros

20 priority desks, with 10 more planned

Over 330 authorized service centers across the country

Its retail footprint has expanded fivefold in just over a year — from 2,000 to 10,000 retail outlets — signaling robust channel engagement and an aggressive distribution push.

Growth Metrics and Market Presence

Since its founding in 2020, Nothing has shipped over 10 million devices globally across smartphones, wearables, and audio products. With cumulative revenue crossing $1 billion, the brand is building a differentiated ecosystem through its Nothing and CMF by Nothing sub-brands, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and community-driven product development.

Conclusion

By manufacturing its most advanced smartphone yet in India, Nothing reinforces its confidence in the local market, infrastructure, and talent pool. The strategy not only strengthens its competitive position but also reflects a thoughtful blend of global design leadership with local execution excellence  —  charting a clear path for future growth in India and beyond.
