NetQin and Motorola Mobility sign pre-installation agreement in China

NetQin Mobile, a global provider of consumer-centric
mobile security and productivity applications, and Motorola Mobility have inked
an agreement to pre-install NetQin Mobile Security on Motorola Android
smartphones in China.

 

Now, customers of Motorola Android will have instant
access to this mobile security application and services on the market.

 

“With mobile threats expected to reach an all-time
high in 2012, this agreement comes at the right time to give smartphone users
the security they need for their mobile devices, as well as all the personal
and financial data on them,” said Henry Yu Lin, chairman and CEO of
NetQin.

 

The first Motorola Android phones that include NetQin
Mobile Security will be shipped at the beginning of 2012.

 

 Motorola customers will receive 60 days of free access
to NetQin Mobile Security Premium features.

 

NetQin Mobile Security will protect the Motorola’s
Android phone against malware, spyware, hackers, and all mobile threats. Also,
it will secure the personal and financial data stored on smartphones.

 

The application provides backup and restore tools to
protect data and allows device to run at optimum speed.
NetQin Mobile had recently joined hands with Commtouch to integrate
Commtouch’s GlobalView URL Filtering into NetQin Mobile Security.

 

Commtouch’s GlobalView URL Filtering is a cloud-based
solution that offers insight into security threats, identifying harmful sites
before users are exposed to them. Its unique technology continuously monitors
and analyzes Web traffic to categorize URLs in realtime.
