MTS India Duet smartphone priced at Rs 4,799

Telecom Lead Asia: Sistema Shyam TeleServices (MTS India) has priced its MTS Duet smartphone at Rs 4,799.

The launch of the dual SIM (CDMA + GSM) smartphone is MTS India’s key strategy to offer greater choice to its customers.

The new smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 processor featuring a 1GHz CPU with integrated CDMA.

The MTS smartphone runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

MTS India is offering unlimited data usage per month for 2 months and unlimited local calls per month for 2 months.

Leonid Musatov, chief marketing & sales officer, MTS India, said: “Aimed at the people on the move, tech savvy youth, it comes bundled with aggressive high speed data and voice plans.”

MTS India will also launch a slew of dual mode smartphones this year, powered by MBlaze Data network to provide seamless data experience to the customer.
