Telecom Lead America: Motorola Mobility has launched its
upgraded version of XOOM Tablet called XOOM 2 for the Brazilian market.
“Tablets are quickly becoming a must-have tool for
staying connected, getting work done and having fun at home and on the road. We
are very excited about the new addition to our tablet portfolio, Motorola XOOM
2, that builds on the success of the original Motorola XOOM to now deliver more
powerful tablet experiences to the Brazilian market,” said Edson Bortolli,
mobile products director, Motorola Mobility Brazil.
The new tablet features Android 3.2, Honeycomb, a
dual-core 1.2 GHz processor, and a 10.1-inch widescreen HD display with
scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass and a splashguard coating body.
Motorola XOOM 2 features MOTOPRINT integrated into key
apps to allow users to print wirelessly from its tablet.
The tablet is compatible with the optional Motorola
Stylus that is great for note-taking, hand-writing emails and sketching.
Motorola XOOM 2 is loaded with Business Ready features like VPN support and
data encryption
allows users to stream music, photos, videos and documents between computer and
tablet without any media tools, apps, or cords.
Brazil starting on March 16th from leading retailers.
The new tablet is 100 grams lighter than the original
Motorola XOOM and its battery delivers more than 10 hours of video playback.
