Magicon ties up with Aircel to launch 3G Android phone for Rs 8,999

Telecom Lead Asia: Magicon has launched its 3G Android smartphone — Magicon UltraSmart Q7 — in India.

Priced at Rs 8,999, the 3G phone is available with data and voice plans from Aircel – 1 GB of data, 250 minutes of talk time and 250 SMS messages for 3 months.

The dual SIM dual standby phone features 11.76 cm screen with 480 x 854 FWVGA resolution, Dual-Core 1 GHz processor and Android 4.0 ICS (Ice-Cream Sandwich) operating system.

It supports 3G, EDGE, GPRS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity besides Wi-Fi hotspot generation capability (the phone gets converted into a Wi-Fi router enabling other devices in the range to connect to the Internet).

With 8.0 mega pixel rear camera, auto focus & flash; and VGA camera on the front, the new Magicon Q7 offers an amazing image capturing and video conferencing experience.

Magicon UltraSmart Q7 includes a G-sensor, Proximity Sensor, GPS (Global Positioning System), 512 MB RAM, 4 GB internal memory (expandable up to 32 GB) and a powerful long-life 1600 mAh battery.

The new 3G smartphone features myplex now, a mobile TV application for users to watch over 100 free and paid Indian channels, over 1000 videos and movies.

NewsHunt, a mobile newspaper app, offers news from over 80 regional newspapers in 12 languages besides the best jobs in India.
