The Bangalore-based LeEco said Shrinivas Bairi, senior director R&D, Manish Aggarwal, vice president, Marketing Communications for Smart Electronics Business and Divya Dixit, director of Content Marketing Business, will be the new faces of LeEco.

Atul Jain, chief operating officer, Smart Electronics Business of LeEco India, said: “These hires are well in line with our initiative of attracting top talent to strengthen our leadership team in India.”

Shrinivas Bairi joins LeEco from chip major Qualcomm, where he spent 17 years in senior roles. His last role in chip company Qualcomm was director Engineering. Shrinivas Bairi moved back from Qualcomm San Diego and was part of initial Qualcomm India R&D Center setup team.

LeEco will utilize the expertise of Shrinivas Bairi at Qualcomm for setting up its R&D centre in India as part of its Make in India journey. LeEco is planning to increase the manpower in R&D center in Bangalore substantially. LeEco did not share the present headcount of the R&D team.

Manish Aggarwal joins LeEco from Myntra where he was VP Marketing and head of Monetisation. Manish has worked with companies such as Coco-Cola Company, Procter & Gamble and Mindshare.
