KONKA launches Android smartphones in Indian mobile market

Telecom Lead Asia: The $3 billion KONKA will launch Android based smartphones in the Indian mobile market.

The consumer electronic and mobile phone brand is investing around $30 million in India.

Its entry strategy will be focused on the high end camera Smartphone market.

“Konka Smartphones offer you the very best of technology, designed around your needs and aimed at simplifying your life. With the mobile consumers’ increasing preference for high end handsets, we see a big opportunity for this segment in India,” said Li Hongtao, chairman, Konka Mobiles.

KONKA launches Android smartphones in Indian mobile market

Manish Pengoriya, director Mak Mobility, said: “The brand is making a confident and clutter breaking entry with their Konka Mobile – part of your life campaign. With this launch, the products will focus on the young at heart generation of tech and style savvy individuals.”

Going beyond hardware, Konka smartphones offer cloud experience in India.
