Intex unveils Tri.Do

With the incessant need of quick-traveling amongst
business professionals, an ever-increasing fad of texting, social networking,
web surfing, and the special offers from different service providers it is not
uncommon to see people grappling with the hassles of using more than one/two
mobile phones.

INTEX Tri.Do – a triple SIM phone from Intex stable – is
a boon for all such people. It is a bar style, GPRS enabled, Java based phone
that can hold 3 SIM cards (GSM+ GSM+CDMA).

After launching India’s first triple-sim phone in 2009,
Intex has introduced its 3rd phone in this range which is an upgrade in terms
of longer battery life (7 hrs talk time and 300 hrs stand-by) and a line-up of
diverse and useful multimedia features. It is amongst the few phones available
in the country which has 32 GB expandable memory feature.

The multi-SIM segment is increasingly grabbing a
major pie of the total market reflecting a huge demand and utility. Having
sensed this quite early, Intex was the first one to introduce a Triple-SIM
phone and now it aims to build on the concept by expanding the
product-assortment with thoughtfully designed products offering convenience and
utility at a highly affordable price,”said
Rajendra
Gupta, GM – Telecom, Intex Technologies.

While receiving /making a call on one of the GSM
connections, the CDMA connection remains active (and vice versa), hence the
user can easily make a shift between the two numbers. Its video player is
capable of playing even MP4 and 3GP files and the audio player has
compatibility with all formats including MP3, AMR, Wave. One can savour the
audio by connecting the output to external speakers via 3.5 mm jack.

The phone has 5.58 cm (2.2 inch) of TFT screen with 65K
colors, 1.3 MP camera which can also be used as a webcam, mobile tracker,
Bluetooth, phonebook with 1000 entries and dual memory card slots – up to
16 GB each.

Consumers will find INTEX Zone very useful which is an
eclectic assortment of various functions like Answering Machine, Mobile
Tracker, Auto Call Record, Google, MSN, Yahoo, Facebook and Games. The
handset supports both English and Hindi and works as a modem, for
web-surfing on your computer, too.
