Intex unveils new i-Tab at Rs 8900

Telecom Lead India:  Intex Technologies has introduced its new tablet i-Tab, which is priced at Rs 8,900.
Earlier, the company launched this tablet at Rs 11,900.

Intex has strategically planned a phased out product launch
for this item. Intex is looking at expanding its tablet portfolio by launching
7″ and 10″ models in the coming months.

The new i-Tab has 8 inches capacitive five point touch
screen and runs on 2.3 version of the Android operating system with Adobe Flash
Player 11.

The new i-Tab is powered by a 1 GHz cortex A8 core
processor which is supported by a 1GB DDR3 RAM.

 It also has a memory capacity of 8GB which
is expandable upto 32GB. It (also) supports external hard drive of
100GB.  And, offers features such as 360 degree G-Sensor and Wi-Fi
support. The tablet is powered by a 5000 mAh battery giving it a back up of 5-6
hours (with Wi-Fi).

The tablet also supports 3G connection via Intex dongle. It
has a front camera and a 3.5mm audio jack out with built-in mike for video
calls.

The i-Tab which comes at a pocket-friendly price coupled
with the promise of prompt after-sales-service, brings superior viewing and
entertainment for its consumers in the entire country,” said Sanjay Kumar,
general manager – Mobile Business, Intex Technologies.

The tablet comes preloaded with Word, Excel and Power Point
viewer and application such as Adobe Reader V9 office.

It weighs 475 grams making it a perfect choice for users who
like to carry their entertainment wherever they go. In-built GPS software
supported by Google Maps is another interesting feature.

The company said that the new i-Tab is available at both its
IT and Telecom Channel Partners and at 70 INTEX SQUARES retail stores.

Intex Technologies launches YUVA mobile phone aimed at
youth segment

Recently, Intex Technologies launched INTEX YUVA, a sleek
phone that delivers a long battery life and targets the youth.

The dual-SIM phone comes with a 2100 mAh battery ensuring
talk-time of up to 8 hours and standby time of up to 500 hours.
