Grandstream unveils new digital cordless IP phone

Telecom Lead America: Grandstream Networks, a
manufacturer of IP voice/video telephony and video surveillance solutions, has
launched its new DP715/710 DECT Cordless IP Phone.

The new offering is aimed at residential, small
office/home office (SOHO) and SMB/SME users and provides VOIP mobility to them.

The DP715/710 is compliant to SIP/DECT and works with
various major IP PBXs and supports wide range indoor/outdoor radio coverage
based on the popular DECT standard.

These new phones provide residential and small-to-medium
business users with a flexible, secure, and powerful wireless IP telephony
solution that offers affordable mobility beyond the desktop and doesn’t
compromise on voice quality or features,” said David Li, CEO of Grandstream.

The new IP phones include the DECT handset and the VoIP
base station with integrated charger.

The DP715/710 supports up to 5 distinct SIP accounts and
is expandable to a total of 5 handsets and 4 concurrent calls. These phones
also lend support to TLS and SRTP security protection which safeguards account
information and encrypts voice conversations thus eliminating eavesdropping
concerns typical of legacy analog cordless phones.

Grandstream is showcasing the DP715/710 at Booth ID2-04
at CommunicAsia this week in Singapore.
