Having previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer since 2019, Akash Palkhiwala has been instrumental in executing Qualcomm’s business strategy, particularly in its expansion into new end markets. Prior to his CFO role, he served as Senior Vice President and finance lead for QCT, Qualcomm’s semiconductor business.
A veteran at Qualcomm since 2001, Akash Palkhiwala has amassed a wealth of experience in various finance leadership roles, including Treasurer, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Corporate Development. His extensive background within the company underscores his deep-rooted knowledge of Qualcomm’s financial landscape.
Akash Palkhiwala is a distinguished alumnus of L.D. College of Engineering in India, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, he holds an M.B.A. from the University of Maryland, rounding out his academic qualifications.
