MTN Partners with Amazon to Roll Out Next-Gen LEO Satellite Internet Globally
MTN has entered into an agreement to become an authorized distributor of Amazon’s low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite broadband service for global deployment. The partnership will see MTN offer high-capacity, low-latency connectivity powered by Amazon’s LEO satellite constellation to customers worldwide, with a strong focus on maritime sectors including commercial shipping, cruise lines, offshore operations, ferries and private yachting. The service is designed to deliver faster speeds and more reliable performance compared with traditional geostationary satellite systems. Through this offering, MTN aims to support enhanced onboard Wi-Fi, crew welfare communications, real-time vessel monitoring, remote operations and hybrid network solutions, expanding access to advanced satellite connectivity across challenging and remote environments.
Ezee Fiber Strengthens Texas Footprint with Dayton Fiber Network Buy
Ezee Fiber has acquired DayNet’s fiber-optic network assets in Dayton, Texas, reinforcing its expansion across the Greater Houston region. The deal adds roughly 76 miles of existing fiber infrastructure to Ezee Fiber’s portfolio. The network was originally developed by the City of Dayton in 2022 to deliver high-speed broadband services to residential customers. While financial terms were not disclosed, the acquisition allows Ezee Fiber to take over a fully built and operational Fiber-to-the-Home network, ensuring continuity of service for existing users. The move enhances Ezee Fiber’s local presence and expands its ability to deliver high-capacity broadband in a fast-growing Texas community.
Deep-Tech Makeover Delivers Revenue Boom for 42 Telecom
Spectral Capital Corporation said its proprietary deep-tech integration strategy helped subsidiary 42 Telecom more than double revenues in January 2026 compared with the same month last year. The company also reported positive profitability for the period, underlining a strong start to the year. According to Spectral, the performance was driven by its approach of acquiring established telecom and technology businesses and enhancing them through advanced artificial intelligence, platform modernization, and proprietary technology integration. These upgrades have allowed 42 Telecom to move beyond traditional messaging services and strengthen its enterprise-focused offerings, improving customer engagement and overall revenue performance.
