MCA Launches Managed Cellular DAS to Help Hotels Stay Connected During Carrier Network Upgrades

Mobile Communications America (MCA) has introduced a managed Cellular Distributed Antenna System (DAS) solution designed to help hotels maintain uninterrupted indoor wireless coverage as major U.S. mobile carriers transition away from legacy network technologies. The service addresses carrier transition notices that could leave older in-building wireless systems unsupported, reducing the risk of connectivity disruptions for guests and hotel operations. MCA will manage the complete lifecycle of the solution, including deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and future technology upgrades, allowing hotel operators to modernize their wireless infrastructure without added complexity. The offering ensures reliable voice and data connectivity while preparing hospitality properties for evolving carrier requirements and future mobile network standards.

MGW and Ribbon Partner to Modernize Networks and Expand Rural Broadband Access

MGW Telephone has partnered with Ribbon Communications to modernize its telecommunications infrastructure and accelerate broadband expansion across rural Virginia. The collaboration will deploy Ribbon’s advanced networking solutions and Circuit Emulation Services technology to replace aging legacy systems with a scalable, future-ready platform. The upgraded infrastructure is expected to improve network reliability, operational efficiency, and service quality while supporting Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) program objectives. By strengthening digital connectivity in underserved communities, the project will enable faster broadband services, enhance customer experiences, and create a foundation for long-term communications growth, helping bridge the digital divide through resilient next-generation telecommunications infrastructure.

AT&T Enhances Build Your Own Plan with Flexible Home Internet Bundling
