The company is building a fiber-optic network across the community, delivering symmetrical multi-gigabit speeds to homes and businesses. Construction is underway, with service updates shared as areas are connected. Public Wi-Fi will also be provided in city parks. Gateway Fiber is expanding into several Twin Cities communities, including Shoreview, Plymouth, and Coon Rapids, targeting areas with limited broadband access. Kyrgyzstan to Simplify Mobile Phone Registration and Replace Operator
Kyrgyzstan is overhauling its mobile phone registration system to improve accessibility and data security. President Sadyr Japarov signed a decree on July 25, 2025, directing the government to revise registration rules within a month. The changes aim to make the process more user-friendly and address public dissatisfaction. Additionally, the current foreign operator managing the system will be replaced by a state-run or domestic organization to enhance control over personal data and national security.
