Monaco Telecom Goes Live with Next‑Gen OTT Streaming Platform
Redge Technologies has rolled out a live‑first OTT (over‑the‑top) streaming service for Monaco Telecom, leveraging its Redge Media platform to modernize TV delivery in the principality. The MonacoTelecomTV service prioritizes live content while supporting iOS, Android, Android TV, web, and Apple TV, which accounts for over 90 percent of local connected TV devices. Built on Kubernetes and OpenStack in Monaco’s private cloud with a dedicated hub in Paris, the platform handles over 210 live channels with features like low‑latency channel switching, extended EPG, catch‑up TV, and cloud DVR, with Redge managing a full migration from the previous provider without service disruption.
