American wireless carrier Sprint on Tuesday slashed the data access charge on $80 and $90 Sprint Family Share Pack Plans to $15 per month per line.
The new strategy is to target the holiday shopping season.
The new plans will be effective from 14 November, Sprint said.
Japanese telecom venture SoftBank owned Sprint said it continues to offer customers the best value with more data at the same or lower price than AT&T and Verizon.
Sprint is offering 12GB for $80 per month and 16GB for $90 per month for up to 10 lines.
The data access charge for non-discounted phones is $15 per month per line for 12GB through 120GB plans.
Users can add tablet devices for $10 per month per line and mobile broadband devices for $20 per month per line.
Sprint said there will be no early termination charge and no annual service contract with non-discounted phones.
