SeeUnity launches mobile app for iPhone for enterprise content mobility

By
Telecom Lead Team:
SeeUnity has launched
its SeeUnity Mobile for iPhone, which mobilizes Enterprise Content Management
(ECM) through the iPhone, and complements the recently released iPad version.

Using SeeUnity Mobile for iPhone, eDOCS and SharePoint
users can easily browse, search, access, and download content for offline
viewing – all from the iPhone.

“The iPhone was a natural next step for SeeUnity
Mobile support. We initially developed SeeUnity Mobile for the iPad based on
customer demand, and we’re now seeing a great response from having extended
much of the same capabilities to the iPhone an even smaller, more ubiquitous
device,” said Brant Henne, marketing director at SeeUnity.

With secure connectivity such as WiFi, or G and EDGE
telecommunications, iPhone users can easily access one or many repositories.
Critical user functions are preserved, including browsing, searching and
accessing documents and metadata.

SeeUnity Mobile for iPhone allows its users to access one
or many eDOCS document libraries and SharePoint sites.  They can search
eDOCS libraries using full-text andor profiles and view document content and
meta-data, including eDOCS profile data.

SeeUnity Mobile maintains a quick access favorites list
of frequently accessed items. Users can download documents for offline access
with single button refresh. Also, they can send documents to other apps or
document links as e-mail attachments.

Microsoft SharePoint and OpenText eDOCS are supported for
use with SeeUnity. SeeUnity Mobile is available for the Apple iPhone and iPad,
with support for additional ECM systems and devices to follow.
