Telecom Lead America: CommScope in collaboration with
Anixter, a provider of communications and security products has introduced a
new mobile application called cAnixter.
Designed to address the enterprise needs of network
integrators and contractors, the new app provides a mobile platform for the
browsing, selecting and quoting of CommScope’s broad range of products.
“The proliferation of connected devices and changing
market dynamics presents new opportunities for how we engage with our
customers. This new app is an exciting development that leverages these
opportunities,” said Fiona Nolan, senior vice president of Global
Marketing, CommScope.
Available free on the Apple App Store, cAnixter allows
users to search for products specifications, locate related products, build
bills of materials and request quotes.
Designed for Apple iPhone and iPad, the app allows
customers to also quickly navigate through the entire collection of products by
both Anixter’s and CommScope’s part numbers.

space, we intend to use every available channel to be accessible to our
customers. This new app reflects Anixter’s strong global partnership with
CommScope and is a great tool for our shared business partners throughout the
world,” said Steve Leatherwood, senior vice president of Marketing,
Anixter.
With this new app, businesses can access information and
specifications for more than 25,000 CommScope products including
Andrew, Broadband, Carrier, SYSTIMAX,
and Uniprise Solutions.
Anixter in pact with Corning MobileAccess to offer in-building
wireless solutions
Earlier, Anixter oined forces with Corning MobileAccess
to deploy Corning MobileAccess distributed antenna systems solutions.
With this partnership, Anixter is able to market and
provide in-building wireless solutions to their customers to meet the
increasing demand in the in-building cellular market
