Carzonrent launches EasyCabs mobile application

Carzonrent India, a transportation service provider, has
launched the EasyCabs Mobile Application suite, a free mobile application that
will enable booking of Easycabs via mobile phones.

The EasyCabs mobile application will be available for
service to customers in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru.

“Our latest offering, the EasyCabs Mobile
application is in line with our commitment to provide best in class experiences
and services to all our guests. We believe that the mobile app will further
assist in streamlining the intra-city transportation needs of the customers,”
said Rajiv Vij, CEO, Carzonrent India.

The app will also assist in creating and managing
customers’ profiles, reserving the cab, tagging frequently travelled locations,
modifying and cancelling reservations amongst its various user friendly
features. All the features have been optimized to expedite the booking process.

The app is available for Blackberry, iPhone, Android and
Symbian based mobile phone. For low end phones, a mobile website has been
designed that does not need JavaScript to be enabled on the browser nor high
speed connections. None of the pages on this website are greater than 6KB in
size, thereby, facilitating quick download even in low-bandwidth conditions.

The company has plans to enhance the EasyCabs Mobile
Application with features that will enable tracking the designated cab once the
booking is confirmed, checking live traffic information on the designated
route, using the device GPS for start address, etc. The intention is to make
the application high on technology yet keep it easy to use for the customers.
