Airtel Pocket TV offers free service to watch 2014 India election result

Telecom operator Bharti Airtel will offer free TV viewing service to watch 2014 Indian election results on Thursday and Friday for its mobile customers.

Airtel customers need to download Pocket TV mobile application to watch the live action during the LS poll counting.

The telecom operator said customers across the country can download the mobile application and enjoy two days of free viewing of all news channels (Hindi, English and vernacular) on the application and catch all the latest news updates on the poll results.

Airtel customers will need to activate the service by sending the SMS <ADD TV> to 54325 from their registered mobile number.

Pocket TV, which has gone live early this year, is available on the Apple iOS platform and Google Android play store.

Airtel Pocket TV offers around 150 Live TV channels and more than 10,000 hours of video content and over 13 channels for Rs 60 per month. Airtel said data charges will be as applicable.
