Airtel Football, a mobile value added service (VAS), is available in entire Africa. OnMobile Global is the VAS vendor.
OnMobile said the latest football news is accessible through SMS, IVR, USSD, WAP, Web and, very shortly a handset app. It is currently available in English, French, Swahili and Hausa. More languages will be added.
At present, Airtel Football VAS service is subscribed by 11.6 million subscribers across 11 countries in Africa since its launch in August 2012.
