Voice over LTE in Polystar test tool solver release 4.11

Polystar has launched the test tool Solver, which includes VoLTE (Voice over LTE), making Polystar an industry leader in the VoLTE test market.

The company said solver SIP with the optional VoLTE feature simulates EPC traffic over the SGi interface to the IMS network (P-CSCF). Through the efficient VoLTE traffic simulation, the functionality, quality, reliability and ability of the IMS network can be tested and verified.

VoLTE is considered as the most probable voice technology of the 4G networks by a majority of operators and mobile network vendors. By adding this feature to release 4.11 of Solver, Polystar provides its customers with the means to efficiently test voice handling as well as the voice quality of 4G in their labs and networks.

“We are really proud to offer this feature since we know there is a high demand for it in the market,” says Hans Edman, the program director of Solver at Polystar.
