Vodafone Business launches International Toll Free Services for Indian enterprises

Vodafone Business Services (VBS) has launched International Toll Free Services (ITFS) in India for enterprise customers.

The international toll free service will address the demand of Indian enterprises to provide a free communication method to their customers, business partners and employees travelling, Vodafone said on Monday.

Vodafone says Indian enterprises will benefit from billing in Indian rupees instead in foreign currency, which is the case when calls are routed through international operators.

Besides, Vodafone will be providing this service to multiple countries by eliminating the need for Enterprises to talk to multiple service providers.

Vodafone is trying to increase revenue from enterprise business in India. The telecom giant says it will tap the Rs 70 crore ITFS market with the new service.

“We are now looking at wireline services as a key revenue driver for Vodafone Business Services. Initially we are providing this service in all major countries and going forward we would add more countriesm,” said Naveen Chopra, director, Vodafone Business Services.

ITFS is a part of the wireline suite of offering customized solutions for Indian enterprises, over and above other services offered by Vodafone Business Services under wireline portfolio, which include Private Leased Circuits (National and International), MPLS based Virtual Private Network (VPN), Internet Leased Lines, Office Wireline Voice and Audio Conferencing Services.
