Ubiquiti Networks introduces M2M communications platform

Telecom Lead America: Ubiquiti Networks, a
communications technology company has introduced a machine-to-machine (M2M)
communications technology platform namely Machine Fidelity or mFi.

The platform is made of family of hardware devices and
combines environment reporting and remote machine control.

The full-featured platform also features configuration
across a unified IP network with an intuitive and customizable software
experience.

“We believe mFi will significantly accelerate the
realization of the popular smart building concept, which traditionally has been
too expensive and complex to deploy and too confusing to operate,” said
Robert J. Pera, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ubiquiti Networks.

The company claims that the mFi removes initial
deployment costs and provides complete user experience, and enables unlimited
application possibilities.

The shipments of this new platform are expected to start
in the September quarter of this year. The company offers mPort and mPower
hardware devices starting at $39.

Ubiquiti Networks also offers technology platforms such
as AirMax, UniFi, AirVision and AirFiber.
