Transition Networks to enter Nigerian telecom market

Telecom Lead Africa: Transition Networks USA, a provider
of telecom networking products, has signed a partnership with Teledom
International.

 

Transition Networks is planning to set up an assembly
plant in Nigeria to provide enterprise network solutions including Ethernet
switches, routers, fiber modules, media converters and network management
solutions.

 

Zal Admani, director of Sales, Europe, Middle East and
Africa, Transition Networks, said Nigeria is a strategic market for the
company, considering that the country is already making significant headway in
broadband development.

 

Transition Networks is looking at taking advantage of
Nigeria’s broadband ecosystem by offering reliable network devices of the
future applicable in government, education, telecom, financial services,
security among others.

 

Offering support for multiple protocols, any interface,
and a multitude of hardware platforms, its portfolio gives users the power to
deliver and manage network traffic reliably over fiber.

 

The company unveiled its networking solutions that enable
ICT Infrastructure builders, network designers and builders, systems
integrators and network operators deliver and manage their networks
efficiently, excellently and cost-effectively.

 

Teledom International, a broadband infrastructure and
technology provider in Nigeria, will distribute products of Transition Networks
in Nigeria.

 

Emmanuel Ekuwem, chairman, of Teledom Group, said the
company will distribute Transition Networks’ products in the country’s
Information and Communications Technology market catering to to homes, office
buildings, campuses and cities.

 

The US company will provide reliable network devices of
the future applicable in government, education, industry (processing,
manufacturing and infrastructure), telecommunications, IT, banks, electronic
media, and security, among others.
