Tekelec appoints Nitin Arora as managing director for India

Telecom Lead India: Tekelec has appointed Nitin Arora as
managing director for India and South Asia. He joined Tekelec from Nokia
Siemens Networks.


Arora will be responsible for all business and sales
activities for India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan.


Arora joins Tekelec from Nokia Siemens Networks, where he
was head of sales and business for core networks in India.


In his prior position at Nokia Siemens Networks, he
directed the core network voice transformation business as head of core
networks for Middle East and Africa.


Arora spent more than three years with Nokia Siemens
Networks and eight years with Siemens, where he held senior positions in
strategy and business development, corporate development, project management
and engineering.


Nitin brings a track record of growth and an intimate
knowledge of service providers’ core network needs. He also has broad
experience working and being a trusted partner with service providers in
Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa,” said Boudewijn Pesch, vice
president, Europe and Asia sales.


The New Diameter Network will give operators in this
region and around the world the foundation to manage signaling traffic growth
and generate revenues from innovative, usage-based services and over-the-top
applications,” said Arora.
