Tech Mahindra to assist Vodafone Qatar to launch fixed line services for retail and enterprise users

Telecom Lead Middle East: Tech Mahindra will assist Vodafone Qatar to launch fixed line services for retail and enterprise customers towards end of this year.

The Mumbai-based Tech Mahindra has already delivered post-paid services for Vodafone which has been commercially launched to the retail and enterprise customers in Qatar early this year.

Vodafone Qatar has engaged Tech Mahindra as prime services partner for last 2 years, to manage its IT Operations, deliver new services to market and enable a premium customer experience.

“Our technology partnership with Tech Mahindra for the last two years is helping Vodafone Qatar grow and innovate in a competitive market landscape. After launching Postpaid, we will continue to leverage Tech Mahindra’s Domain Expertise and Flexible Approach to bring new services and better customer experience,” said Richard Daly, CEO, Vodafone Qatar.

Recently, Vodafone Qatar visited the Centre of Excellence and Offshore Development Centre at Tech Mahindra, Pune.

According to a TelecomLead.com news report, Tech Mahindra has posted global revenue of $281 million for the first quarter ended on June 30, 2012 with a flat sequential growth. The company’s operating profits (EBIDTA) increased 26 percent sequentially at $60 million. TechM’s revenue the Middle East and North African (MENA) region observed healthy growth surge.
