Telecom Lead America: T-Systems, a global provider of
information and communication technology, has become an SAP-certified global
provider of cloud, hosting and application management services and an SAP
global hosting partner.

and application management services receive certification from SAP
based on their ability to deliver high-quality service operations.
The company said that over 3.8 million productive users
of SAP solutions receive services from T-Systems in support of those solutions,
and T-Systems supports 80 percent of all SAP solution-based transactions from
the cloud.
Furthermore, the company claims that its support and
services makes it the No. 1 global provider of dynamically scalable services in
support of SAP solutions.
Deutsche Telekom’s IT subsidiary, T-Systems has more than
500 customers running SAP services via the cloud from T-Systems’ data centers
located throughout the world, for example, Philips, Deutsche Post DHL and
Shell.
T-Systems bags 160 million euros contract from British American
Tobacco
Recently, T-Systems won a 160 million Euros contract from
British American Tobacco. The seven-year contract enables British American
Tobacco to buy much of its IT dynamically to increase flexibility at work and
to reduce costs.
