RACO Wireless, a provider of
machine-to-machine (M2M) solutions to T-Mobile USA, is expected to
register a year-over-year growth of 300 percent in 2011.
“The phenomenal growth and momentum RACO
Wireless has seen this year is a win not only for us, but also for T-Mobile
USA. Together, we’re not only delivering outstanding M2M applications and
connectivity, we’re underscoring a dominant leadership position in the M2M
industry,” said John Horn, president of RACO Wireless.
The company attributes much of this growth
to the speed and agility with which it helps its partners bring M2M
applications to market.
“Enabling M2M on our robust nationwide
network continues to be very important to T-Mobile. With new M2M solutions
entering the marketplace in as little as one day, RACO Wireless is helping
companies and devices connect in unexpected ways. We congratulate RACO Wireless
on their tremendous growth,” said Stan Simpliciano, senior director of MVNO/M2M
at T-Mobile USA.
The company also announced that M2M veteran
Eddie Meyersick joined the company as its director of global accounts.
Meyersick will work with multiple global carriers to increase the widespread
support for the Multi IMSI SIM project.
With the help of Research firm Compass
Intelligence, the company predicts that the M2M and connected device
market will reach 87 million endpoints by 2015, with a compound annual
growth rate of more than 25 percent.
John Horn, president of RACO Wireless said
that they expect more M2M player consolidation and increasing M2M expansion
into very specific market niches, like asset management, in 2012.
