Plantronics adds more new tools and resources to Smarter Working UC Toolkit

Telecom Lead Asia: Plantronics has added more new tools
and resources to Smarter Working UC Toolkit.

The free, online toolkit puts how-to information into the
hands of IT managers, providing them with an easy-to-follow roadmap for
successful UC audio device deployments.

Plantronics claims that the Smarter Working UC Toolkit
offers more resources and information about UC audio device deployment than any
other online guide in the industry. New tools in the Smarter Working UC Toolkit
include a UC Audio Device Catalog Tool to aid the management of deployments, a
Global Deployment Workbook featuring a site-specific worksheet, and an iPad app
so IT can be mobile in the office.

IT professionals are being asked to do more every day.
Having resources like the Smarter Working UC Toolkit allows them to leverage UC
audio device deployment best practices and lessons learned to get the results
they want, faster,” said Rich Costello, senior research analyst, IDC.

Empowering an employee with the right UC audio device
that’s best suited for their unique situation is one of the most efficient ways
to accelerate productivity in a UC environment,” said Andrew Taylor, senior
director, UC Toolkit Marketing, Plantronics.

The Plantronics Smarter Working UC Toolkit provides IT
professionals with best practices in the form of FAQs, guidelines, checklists,
and surveys for use at every phase of a UC audio device deployment including,
Trial, Plan, Deploy, Adopt, and Evolve.
