Panasonic India unveils HD Video Conferencing solution for enterprise to strengthen B2B segment

Telecom Lead India: In a bid to strengthen its focus
on the B2B business in India, Panasonic has introduced its next
generation High-Definition Video Conferencing (HDVC) for enterprises.

The company is targeting IT/ITES, Hi-tech Enterprise,
Manufacturing and Healthcare industries for this new solution through its
vertical marketing solution.


The company will also focus on bundling specific
solutions to fulfill the requirements of various industries to make it most
suitable product for them.


The company said that it will be addressing needs of its
B2B customers by understanding and catering to their specific needs through
innovation in technology.


Panasonic will fortify its SNC (System and Network
Communication) domain by strengthening integrated network business that
includes security and cloud.


The company is betting high on B2B segment through
Panasonic System Sales Division (SSD) which plays a vital role in contributing
to the overall growth of the brand in India.


Toru Hasegawa, MD of System Sales Division of Panasonic
India said that the year-on-year average growth rate for Panasonic’s System
Sales Division has been 40 percent with a wide product portfolio.


He added that the company expects this growth to cross
100 percent by this fiscal end and close with a turnover of Rs. 655 crores.


The company’s B2B product portfolio including
commercial Displays , Projectors, Telephones, Fax machines, EPABX, 
Surveillance and Security Cameras, Printers, Panaboards & interactive
boards, Scanners, Toughbooks, Point of sale solutions and Broadcast products.


The company anticipates that SSD will be
contributing to 10 percent of the company’s total revenue this year.


Panasonic will also be launching new products in market
this fiscal to expand its B2B portfolio. 


Rizhkant Zha, director of System Sales Division at
Panasonic India said that 3D technology has been infused with HDVC for the
first time in India to provide best Video Conferencing solution for customers.


The end to end technology solution makes it possible to
display facial expressions and gestures in clear, full-HD images as part of the
visual communication experience.


The company anticipates $2 billion revenue for the fiscal
2012, out of which 20 percent is expected to come from B2B segment.
Additionally, the company expects $10 billion revenue by the year 2018.
